Coderus was founded in 1998 by Mark Thomas. His primary objective was to build a business that would create simple and eminently usable solutions – irrespective of the underlying software complexities. This objective underpins everything we do today, delivering on Marks’ motto.
Our management team all have backgrounds in BT, those with technical backgrounds having many years experience with the delivery of BT’s consumer and broadband devices. The business is now co-located with BT at Adastral park, Martlesham Heath where our talented pool of developers and QA analysts can be found. A second office at St.Johns Innovation Centre, Cambridge is a more recent addition.
Working with a diverse range of clients, we offer services ranging from a simple one off client solution through to major multiple solutions for blue chip companies. Working closely with our partners and clients, we aim to ensure we understand their business, objectives and expectations to establish a successful long term working relationships with outstanding service and results to match.
About Mark Thomas
No stranger to the challenges of software development, Mark Thomas has worked in this field since graduating from University. Working for BT and as a contractor, he has produced high quality software and user interface designs for Broadband and Openreach products, and has built an enviable relationship and reputation with Apple, partly through regular attendance of the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).
Earlier in his career, Mark channelled his passion into games design on the Mac O/S platform and successfully licensed his ‘MacDX’ product, simplifying the porting of DirectX games onto the Mac platform.
