Some of the Coderus developers attended the University of Essex Computer Science and Electronic Engineering final year project presentations yesterday.
Previous attendance had been worthwhile, being able to talk to students in a relatively relaxed environment about their projects, ideas and what makes them tick. We are are always on the lookout for those with a special spark, imagination and passion.
From a student’s perspective, it provides them with possibly their first opportunity to meet potential employers.
Our visiting developers said,” It was great to see the variety and skill in the students’ projects, from social mobile apps and games through to security applications and driver assisting software. There were plenty of talented and promising students on show, happy to share and speak about the technical detail and challenges of their projects.”
Mark Thomas said, “Our guys thought the event was very worthwhile and I’m pleased that we are able to support the university, who in turn are helping us find potential recruits for our expanding business.” We would like to thank CSEE and the Employability teams for inviting us and to wish all the Final year students good luck with studies and success with their exams in the coming months.
