We have always been of the belief that the tech industry should be inclusive and welcoming to diverse people. Our partnership with Adastral Women in Tech celebrates industry-leading women in tech whilst offering a community for young people to find role models, network and learn.
What is Adastral Women in Tech?
Adastral Women in Tech is a group led by and created for women who work in technology at BT’s Adastral Park in Martlesham. The aim of the group is to create opportunities for networking, knowledge-sharing and creating future role models for young people seeking a career in technology.
The group hosts monthly virtual Knowledge Calls with a different theme each quarter, such as cybersecurity, inviting industry experts to present a talk or lead a discussion on a topic they are knowledgeable or passionate about within the theme of the series.
Aside from this, Adastral Women in Tech run a weekly Python Coding Club for beginners who are interested in gaining a new practical skill with a welcoming group of like-minded learners.

Coderus provides support to Adastral Women in Tech in a number of ways. Our in-house marketing team is integral to the growth of the group, providing social media content, event ideas and contributing to Knowledge Calls.
