Anti-Bullying App Takes a Step Forward

Ramsden Hall school were invited back to our Adastral Park office on Wednesday 25th for a progress update of the iPhone version of their School Anti-Bullying App but also to discuss their ideas for a larger screen version and how that might be presented on an iPad.
As expected, they had plenty of thoughts and enthusiasm for us to take away and consider. Fay Geaves, Ramsden Hall School Nuture manager said, “We are all very proud of the boys and want to thank your team for running with their idea and believing in them”.
BBC Look East were in attendance as a follow up to their initial report three months ago that sparked the idea of our involvement.
Presenter Kevin Burch did a great job and the result went live on the 6-30 pm Wednesday evening programme and is now on YouTube. Some behind the scenes images of the days activities can be found on our Facebook page.
MD Mark Thomas said,”It was great seeing Nick and Alex again today and having them work with us at the office.  I’m please how we are able to show how the software development of their application and what they are taught on their school’s computing curriculum matches up”.
