Coderus CEO Judges Computer Science Projects

Coderus’s Mark Thomas was invited to judge at the University of Essex Computer Science and Electronic Engineering (CSEE), final year project presentations day. Out of 116 projects which invited visitors and academic staff at a previous open day had the opportunity to rate, they were finally reduced to 5 nominations for assessment by industry experts. They were as follows…

  • The world’s lowest known voltage energy harvester: start-up at 1.7mV
  • Fire Fighting Home Robot
  • Development and Evaluation of In Air Gesture Control for a Small Information and Social Messaging Kiosk
  • Online Collaborative Game
  • Time Travel Game

The very high standards achieved made deciding the winner very difficult, as each project had its merits. We would like to thank the finalists for their hard work in making the judges welcome and also CSEE for inviting us. We would like to wish all the Final year students good luck with studies and success with their exams in the coming months.
