Spotlight on Coderus in Tech Nation 2017 Report

Coderus is profiled in the annual Tech Nation report from Tech City UK. The report shows that the UK digital tech sector is one of the country’s economic success stories, growing twice as fast as the wider economy and creating highly skilled workers and well-paid jobs.

I am delighted that our team is mentioned in the Tech Nation report, as a leading example on behalf of the digital community in and around Ipswich. Coderus invests time and effort to develop the local tech sector, as demonstrated by our engagement with local Universities and schools. We provide professional advice and coaching; run events, attend job fairs, offer internships and recruit graduates. We believe in nurturing and retaining local talent and offer in return a great place to work and live. Ipswich and the surrounding area offers a great quality of life which our new recruits find very attractive and ‘sticky’.

Mark Thomas, Founder CEO of Coderus

Coderus is an active member of the Innovation Martlesham eco-system of 97 high-tech ICT companies, clustered with BT at Adastral Park, Martlesham Heath. IM businesses we work closely with include GlazeAlarm, Milner Strategic Marketing and Banbury Howard. Adastral Park is seven miles from the vibrant Ipswich waterfront and a similar distance from the tranquil Suffolk coast, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

In addition to nurturing talent, we support the local tech community by hosting three major live stream events each year, provided by Microsoft, Google and Apple at the University of Suffolk and Adastral Park. The events are free to attend and include product demos by my team, light refreshments, networking opportunities and the live streams from the USA.
